NO BOOKING REQUIRED: Just pop along to explore 10am -4pm Monday-Sunday (excluding August 2nd, 14th, 17th and 18th) You can find the fairies or complete the orienteering course. £5 per child payable in The Little Wee Shop. Grown ups free. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate available. Pocket money shop (cash only). Parking and toilet facilities with a baby change unit. Play park and picnic benches. Have fun Nikki xx
Suitable for Families and School Groups
Come and explore the Fairy Woods, the Explorer Woods and try out our orienteering course. Enjoy a snack of hot chocolate made over a fire and a fairy cake, toast marshmallows and play in the forest play park
Ideal for nursery and school trips. Run by a qualified primary teacher and a great team of enthusiastic and nurturing staff. Indoor facilities available for snack and lunch.
The Fairy Woods: Suitable for families, playgroups, nurseries and school trips from P1-3. The children will explore the woods with a tour guide to find the fairies doors. Story and snack session.
The Explorer Woods: Suitable for families and children in P1-5 . George is lost in the woods!!!! The children will search for the hidden maps and solve the problem to rescue him. Think Crystal Maze and Escape Rooms! Story and snack session.
Orienteering: Suitable for families and children in P4-7 (Primary 3 supervised) The children will use the map to find the control points hidden in the forest. Time challenges and bonus points available. Snack session.
